Originally from Detroit, Andy Madeleine is a director currently living and working in New York City.

Infatuated by the medium since his teenage years- his first foray into filmmaking was an attempt to imitate the DIY filmmakers he admired from the 90’s and early 2000’s. He carried that inspiration into university, where he studied non-fiction filmmaking.

His journey and his influences are exhibited in his work- often characterized for possessing a tangible rawness. He has a visceral approach to filmmaking, experimenting with visual styles and various forms of storytelling, crafting stories within the worlds of music, sports, and fashion, amongst others. 

Having also worked as both an editor and cinematographer, he speaks many languages on set- honoring and empowering his collaborators, and creating a lasting impact with those he works with.

His client list is extensive, having created brand work for Adidas, Square, Fanatics, BMW, Nissan, Tumi, Fendi, and Vogue, amongst others, and musicians Fivio Foreign, Chloe Bailey, DVSN, and Clairo.
